Nextel Blackberry Appears On Web

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - September 20, 2002

Once again we can thank the FCC for providing us with sneak peaks of the latest devices set to hit the market. This time it's the Blackberry 6110 Wireless Handheld which should be appearing for Nextel's Wireless Networks soon.

The device looks to have many of the same features as the older devices with the added benefit of wireless phone capabilities.

Editor's Take
Does anyone think the Nextel Blackberry looks a lot like Handspring's Treo? I wonder if the recent lawsuit which RIM filed against Handspring had anything to do with RIM's plans to bring this device to market.

Although many people think that's it is a big convenience to carry around a single device rather than wasting time with multiple device I'm someone who would rather have multiple device which each do their job as best as they can.
