In a report from PC World, RIM is apparently showing off some colorful Blackberry devices to attendees of the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. It appears that RIM will use an array of different colored cases for their Blackberry line in an attempt to attack the consumer market.
Although existing Blackberry devices have a monochrome screen, RIM is also displaying a Blackberry device with a color TFT screen at the 3GSM World Congress. The company says it has no plans to release a color screen model at this time, but is using the display to gauge consumer reactions.
The other bit of news from France is the expected addition of a Web client for the Blackberry that will allow users to access web based email services like Yahoo and Hotmail. The web client is expected by the end of the year.
