RIM and Good Settle Lawsuits

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 28, 2004

This is good news for RIM this time. It seems they have settled their ongoing lawsuits with Good Technology.

Although details of the agreement are not available, it is known that Good Technology will give RIM an lump sum payment during RIM's next financial quarter.

"This means that this chapter of RIM and Good beating each others' brains out in court is closed," Good Technology CEO Danny Shader said.

As part of the deal Good Technology also signed a license agreement to license RIM's technology. Good will pay ongoing quarterly royalties for making use of RIM's patents.
