News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - October 20, 2005

An anonymous source has told Brighthand that the Blackberry 8700 will be available at Cingular on October 28. Apparently Cingular will be the only carrier to offer the Blackberry 8700 for some time. No information on pricing is available.

The BlackBerry 8700 will run a 312 MHz processor with 16 MB of RAM and 64 MB of Flash memory. It will include Bluetooh wireless networking and will run on GSM/GPRS networks. No word yet on whether it will support the high speed EDGE network.
