AOL and Yahoo Instant Messages on Blackberry

RIM is working with America Online and Yahoo! to allow Blackberry users to have access to instant messaging clients as well as mobile email. RIM has joined AOL's Mobile Developer Program in order to bring AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ to the BlackBerry platform. RIM is also working with AOL to give BlackBerry users easy access to the mobile AOL Mail service.

RIM will also pre-install Yahoo! Messenger clients on upcoming BlackBerry devices. Users will be able to send instant messages and have conversations with friends on their Blackberry devices. Users can access the AOL and Yahoo web sites for more information.
