AvantGo for Blackberry Beta

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 18, 2005

iAnywhere Solutions, Inc. has released a public beta of AvantGo for BlackBerry devices. Unlike previous versions of AvantGo the BlackBerry version does not store web pages on the user's device to be viewed later. BlackBerry users running Avantgo will view the web sites live. This means that it is only available for Blackberry users who have web access on their Blackberry.

AvantGo for BlackBerry requires the RIM web browser, version 3.7 and above.

AvantGo is a free service that lets users access web sites that have been specially formatted for the small screens of PDA's and other mobile devices.

The public beta of AvantGo for BlackBerry can be downloaded at the link below.
