You can have remote system and database administration from your Blackberry device. With AVIDTelnet-SSH, you can access your network, or any network that supports Telnet, SSH1 or SSH2 from anywhere in the Cingular (USA) or Rogers (Canada) coverage area. System requirements include a RIM 957 or RIM 950 with 4 MB and Blackberry 2.0+. Free trials are available. Click below for more information.

Imagine the possibilities:

  • Restart a router right in the movie theatre
  • Access to your server while on the road
  • Answer a service call from your child's soccer game
  • The possibilities are endless...

    Important features are:

  • Supports SSH1, SSH2 and standard Telnet protocols
  • Built in address book for easy access to multiple machines
  • Full command-line access from your RIM device (start, stop, and restart important processes or applications from anywhere)
  • End-to-End encryption for secure data transmission
  • Multitasking (start a session in the background while you perform other RIM functions)
  • Supports both paged and scrolling displays
  • Masked password entry or user prompted password
  • Communications are fully optimized to reduce air time
  • Control code and no carriage return entry available
  • Support for non standard ports
  • Both regular and compact fonts
