Blackberry 7100g Reviewed

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 14, 2005

Laptop Magazine has posted a nice review of the Blackberry 7100g smart phone. The reviewer seemed to be impressed with the device as a phone noting excellent battery life, good email software, and clear phone reception with speakerphone.

"The design team at RIM BlackBerry took an even bigger risk when it tampered with its celebrated keyboard. The layout of the 7100g succeeds because there's more space between the keys; we like it better than the 7100t's. The SureType keyboard essentially squishes a standard QWERTY keyboard into half the space by putting two letters on each key. Center keys double as a standard dial pad for making calls, and Dial/Hang-up buttons, a side scroll wheel, and an Exit button are used for navigation. When entering text, the SureType software guesses the word as you type."
