RIM Has "Workaround" To Skirt Patent Suit

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 16, 2005

Reuters is reporting that Research In Motion has developed a "workaround" that would help them skirt the patent lawsuit by NTP. Apparently the "workaround" will work on all existing Blackberry devices. Few details are known at this time.

"Part of what we have done is a workaround. We've completed it. We've tested it and we have a legal opinion on it, so it's an option," RIM co-chief executive Jim Balsillie told Reuters.
