Marriott Offers Free Blackberry 7290 For Booking a Room

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - July 22, 2005

Marriott Hotels is offering a great deal on a Blackberry 7290. Just reserve a room on their website or by calling 1-888-236-2427, then sign up on Marriott.com to receive a BlackBerry 7290 absolutely FREE (after rebate). That's what their offer says.

Let's look at the details. You sign up for a 2-year plan from Cingular Wireless, at about $75 monthly ($34.99 data and $39.99 a month for voice). You pay $150 when you order plus a $36 activation fee. When the Blackberry arrives you will receive a $150 mail-in rebate which you can send in. I suppose the phone ends up being free, but why not just hand you the Blackberry? THAT would be FREE.

For more details on the offer check the link below.

BlackBerry 7290TM Features:

  • All in one - wireless phone, Web browser, email terminal, SMS, and a personal organizer
  • Up to 10 email accounts
  • High-res display
  • Over 65,000 colors
  • Attachment viewing
  • Removable rechargeable battery
  • Hands-free headset, charger and holster
