CarRentals.com Launches Mobile Service

CarRentals.com, has launched the first mobile web site allowing users with cell phone, smartphone and PDA Internet browsers to reserve vehicles from multiple car rental vendors. Travelers can compare prices and make reservations for rental cars quickly and effectively from anywhere around the world.

"The release of the mobile CarRentals.com site is another example of CarRentals.com's cutting-edge technology. This release firmly establishes CarRentals.com as the technology leader in car rental booking technology." says David Morton, Chief Technology Officer of CarRentals.com.

To access the CarRentals.com mobile site, users can go to www.carrentals.com. The site detects the usage of a PDA or smartphone and redirects users to a page designed for the screen size. CarRentals.com has also set up mobile.carrentals.com, allowing direct access to the innovative mobile reservation web site.
