BlackBerry going to Russia

According to Reuters, two top Russian mobile firms said they would start selling BlackBerry phones in Russia after reaching a compromise with state security services. MTS and Vimpelcom will start shipping BlackBerry devices in the first quarter of 2008. MTS has offered BlackBerry phones in Ukraine since October but they will now offer them in Russia.
