ThinPrint Releases Content Beamer for Blackberry Demo

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 01, 2007

To coincide with the release of Service Release 1 (SR1), ThinPrint the Mobile Enterprise experts, are making their Mobile Document Output System, Content Beamer, available for the first time as a free 30-day demo version. It is accessible via their website and comes equipped with a full range of functions. This software solution lets BlackBerry users print, send faxes, and transfer emails and attachments to Notebook monitors.

The new version includes a Setup Assistant for simpler installation. In addition to this, other steps have been taken to enable easy installation and operation. Most mail attachments are now sent as PDF data, so the PDF printing process has been completely reworked, and is particularly resource-saving.

The Content Beamer is easily installed, and supports up to 80 users directly on the BES server. The fax function has also been improved, and the choice of printers simplified and displayed in hierarchical order. It is additionally possible to access network printers by user location via an intuitive menu selection.
