WiFi BlackBerry due out this year

Many people have been waiting patiently for RIM to make a WiFi enabled BlackBerry. Good news for all those waiting as RIM Senior Vice President David Yach told eWEEK that RIM will add WiFi capabilities to the BlackBerry sometime this year. Apparently RIM has been holding off on delivering WiFi because it requires "seamless handoff" that customers want and that requires the "cooperation of the carriers involved." RIM is still working with carriers to implement the technology into their handsets. It seems like it's a little late in coming, but better late than never.
