Obama to keep his BlackBerry

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - January 20, 2009

In a recent interview with CNN's John King, Obama insinuated that he would keep his BlackBerry despite recent reports that the Secret Service would make him give it up. Obama said, "I think we're going to be able to beat this back a little... I think we're going to be able to hang onto one of these."

It appears that Mr. Obama's addiction to his BlackBerry is so strong, he is not willing to let the Secret Service dictate his use of it.

Obama said that this his BlackBerry was "one of the tools" that would help him get outside the bubble of the White House. He said that if he makes a wrong decision, all the people he knows in Chicago would simply need to drop him an email.
