BlackBerry service outage AGAIN!

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - November 17, 2009

Well folks, most of you probably know that there was another massive BlackBerry outage yesterday. The first time RIM had an outage they said they would take steps so it could not happen again, yet it keeps happening, and happening, and happening.

Yesterday you all probably experienced the inability to send email or even use the BlackBerry Messenger yet we've heard nothing from RIM on the subject.

The fact that with BlackBerry everything goes through one system that can, and does, go down is a deal breaker for us. We never rely on BlackBerry because it just goes down too often. There are a multitude of other phones that can get push email from Gmail or an Exchange server without the risks of RIM's BIS. Right now we're using a Palm Pre and it hasn't left us hanging on our email once.
