T-Mobile's Free BlackBerry Trackball Replacement Program

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - January 28, 2010

T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl and Curve users are in luck. T-Mobile is launching a Free BlackBerry Trackball Replacement program. Any T-Mobile user with a BlackBerry Pearl 8100/8120 or BlackBerry Curve 8320 who has problems with their trackball locking up can take their phone to a T-Mobile store and have the trackball replaced. This is fantastic news for T-Mobile BlackBerry users.

The trackball has been a major sore spot for many BlackBerry users who have experienced the sticking trackball. In fact, RIM has largely moved away from the trackball in their newer devices, going instead with a trackpad. Kudos to T-Mobile for recognizing this issue and helping their users solve it.
