Verizon wireless will be offering their Backup Assistant for BlackBerry users on March 9 according to BerryScoop. This will make transferring contacts to a BlackBerry a much simpler process.

The application will be free for Verizon customers who sign up for the My Verizon service. Once Backup Assistant for BlackBerry is released users will be able to simply download the app, sign in with a pin, and their contacts will transfer. Very slick!
