BlackBerry Slider coming August 15

If the rumors are true the BlackBerry Slider will hit in just a few weeks. According to John Albright of the BlackBerry Partners Fund, Research in Motion is gearing up to release a new Slider on August 15 on AT&T. Albright broke the news at the paidContent Mobile Conference in New York.

It's been rumored for some time that RIM had a slider device in the works. We've seen leaked photos and videos but have never had any idea on a release time frame. If Mr. Albright is correct, it could be a fantastic summer for BlackBerry fans.
