It appears that a lot of BlackBerry users are trading in their BB's for the iPhone 4S. Only gadget trader Gazelle reports a spike in BlackBerry trade-ins to record highs. Apparently, the number of BlackBerry trade-ins was up 80% last week.
Although the recent BlackBerry outage is partly to blame for the defections, Anthony Scarsella of Gazelle said, “in the grand scheme of BlackBerry [trade-in] growth over the past month, it can be pretty much entirely attributed to the launch of the iPhone 4S.
