The BlackBerry PlayBook is about to get a major price cut in Canada. Perhaps spurred on by the Amazon Kindle Fire, the PlayBook needs something to peak people's interest and a $199 price tag may just do it.
BestBuy, Walmart, Staples and Future Shop in Canada are offering the PlayBook for $199. That's $300 off the regular price. The sale lasts from November 16th to the 22nd in Quebec, and the 18th to the 24th in the rest of Canada.
The 16GB WiFi only version sells for $199, and the 32GB and 64GB models are also being offered for $300 and $400 respectively.
