The BlackBerry PlayBook Dingleberry jailbreak has been out for awhile, and people are finding all kinds of new uses for it. Most recently, USB host support has been discovered. That means that you can use a USB to microUSB adapter to attach a flash drive to your PlayBook to access files. USB host access alone would make it worth rooting the PlayBook.
