Two drunk RIM executives cause emergency landing

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - December 02, 2011

Two Research In Motion executives taking an Air Canada flight from Toronto to Bejing were so drunk, the airline had to handcuff them to their seats, and make an emergency landing in Vancouver. George Campbell and Paul Alexander, were jailed, and ordered to pay a $71,757 in restitution fees.

RIM hasn't said much on the incident but did release a short statement. “Based on the limited information available at this time, RIM has suspended the individuals involved pending further investigation,” read a statement from Marissa Conway, of RIM’s public relations agency.
