BlackBerry 10 doesn't even work?

News - By: SPBlast! Staff - December 22, 2011

BGR has an interesting exclusive today that alleges the management at RIM doesn't even have a working product in BlackBerry 10, and that is the real reason it is delayed until late next year. BGR spoke to a company insider who alleged that co-CEO Mike Lazaridis was less than truthful when explaining the delay in BlackBerry 10 devices, and that BlackBerry 10 has "no email, no BlackBerry Messenger."

In what is something of a serious allegation, our source told us that Mike Lazaridis was lying when he said the company’s new lineup was delayed for that reason. ”RIM is simply pushing this out as long as they can for one reason, they don’t have a working product yet,” we were told.

These are serious charges, and BGR isn't known for throwing mud around for no reason. I have to believe a source did open up to BGR and that things aren't pretty at RIM right now. The evidence has been mounting all year and it sure seems to me like RIM could use some new blood at the top. They simply aren't keeping up with iOS and Android.
