The recent Dingleberry root of the BlackBerry PlayBook was supposedly blocked, but not so fast. It turns out some users have been able to root the PlayBook, and actually get the Android Market to run on RIM's tablet.
RIM claims they will issue software updates to break the root, but according to several sources, the root was actually very easy to implement. This will likely be another cat and mouse game between the hacking community and RIM, that will have no end in sight.
