RIM working with Hulu to bring Hulu Plus to the PlayBook

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - April 26, 2011

Everyone knows that the BlackBerry PlayBook has a full web browser, and those early adopters noticed that Hulu was working on the PlayBook. However, Hulu blocked the PlayBook on Thursday in an effort to encourage users to subscribe to Hulu plus. Hulu routinely blocks non-desktop devices for that reason.

RIM is now in talks with Hulu to bring Hulu Plus to the PlayBook. A RIM spokesperson told PCMag, "We are in conversations with Hulu to bring the Hulu Plus subscription service to BlackBerry PlayBook users."

If Hulu Plus becomes available on the PlayBook would you subscribe? At $7.99 per month the price is reasonable. The only question is Netflix or Hulu or both?
