O2 passes on the BlackBerry PlayBook

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - June 16, 2011

The BlackBerry PlayBook is launching in the UK today, but one of the country's largest carriers will not be carrying RIM's tablet. O2 apparently contacted customers who were interested in using the PlayBook, and the told them that the company would not be carrying the device. The company said, "unfortunately there are some issues with the end to end customer experience." What could that experience have been?

O2 is not ruling out carrying the PlayBook in the future, but they're taking a pass on it now. Could it be that there is no native email client?

Do you have a PlayBook? Do you like it better than the iPad? Let us know in the comments.
