Press Reader App for PlayBook accesses 1900 newspapers and magazines

There is a free app for the BlackBerry PlayBook that gives you access to over 1900 newspapers and magazines. PressReader turns your PlayBook into a serious "press reader." As you can see in the video PressReader is straightforward and easy to use. You can read publications on or offline.

Other features include:

  • Flipping pages as if reading a paper publication
  • Panning /zooming articles and images, and viewing them in stunning clarity
  • Easily navigating publications using page thumbnails or tables of contents
  • Opening full articles in easy-to-read text view
  • Searching online across titles and selecting the desired titles for download
  • Sharing articles on Facebook and Twitter
  • Authorizing PressReader as part of the existing PressDisplay.com subscription

    Most publications can be purchased for $.99, or downloaded as part of a subscription.
