The New York Times ran a silly article the other day claiming some people are actually embarrassed that they still use a BlackBerry. In an era of iPhone and Android phones, the BlackBerry has not been able to keep up with the "cool" factor. The Times quotes Rachel Crosby,
The article does have a ring of truth to it, but it's silly. People should use the device that works for them, period. If you need a tactile keyboard, get a BlackBerry. It's still the best keyboard in the market. If you prefer a bigger screen, get a touchscreen device. Either way, a phone is a phone and as long as it does what you need it to do, who cares what everyone else thinks?
