BlackBerry durability test video

Want to see how RIM tests your BlackBerry for durability? RIM does a lot of testing to make sure your BlackBerry will always stand up to the punishment no matter how hard you are on your phone. Inside BlackBerry has posted a few videos showing part of the testing process. RIM's OS might be archaic, but their hardware has always been pretty good. For example, you'd be hard pressed to find a better hardware keyboard on the market.

So how do we work to ensure that your BlackBerry smartphone will keep working? Well, we drop them, bend them, shock them, soak them and zap them…a lot. We also do some nerdy things like reading digital signals to make sure everything is speaking the right language
