Research in Motion is starting a new marketing campaign, and this one should be funny. Shortly after dumping the cartoon characters that they introduced and dropped in record time, the BlackBerry maker hired Amir Blumenfeld and Streeter Seidell from CollegeHumor.com as part of a youth-oriented campaign called, “The New 2012 Challenge Council Project.”
There is no word yet on exactly what the guys from CollegeHumor.com will do, but the full campaign is expected to launch later this month. Stay tuned...
"New Challenge Council Members Streeter and Amir are about to shut down BlackBerry trash talk once and for all," the company says in the online announcement which urges users to sign up for updates that will make them "the first to know when these guys start putting BlackBerry naysayers on blast."
