RIM has something to celebrate after all. Trend Micro named RIM's BlackBerry 7 OS the most secure mobile OS. The news was released in a report titled “Enterprise Readiness of Consumer Mobile Platforms.” They compared Android 2.3, iOS 5, Windows Phone 7.5 and BlackBerry 7 and BlackBerry came out on top.
Maybe RIM should stick to what it does best. Enterprise!
Researchers from Trend Micro, Altimeter Group and Bloor Research said that the Blackberry 7 OS scored highest thanks to its corporate grade security and manageability, and they also gave praise to the Apple Iphone for its lack of removable storage and applauded the robustness of Windows Phone 7.5.
