Mike Kirkup, Former Senior Director of Developer Relations at Research in Motion appeared on Canadian TV to give his view about the current state of RIM. He thinks it's still "up in the air" how the market will come down on RIM.
So far RIM has lost massive amounts of revenue, and has dropped thousands of employees worldwide. "Up in the air?" Their stock has tanked over 90%. I think the market has spoken and the news isn't good.
Kirkup admits that employees at RIM are naturally "nervous" as they've seen RIM seem to crater under pressure from Apple and Google. He also notes that RIM is an exciting place to work. We'll see how that theory holds up over the next year or so.
