An internal BlackBerry 10 marketing video showing off BlackBerry 10 touch devices with QWERTY keyboards has been released to the public. CrackBerry apparently found the video and released it. The video was promptly removed, but it has been reuploaded for the world to see. I have to say, these BlackBerry devices look great!
Earlier in the week we saw the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha B phones. Clearly, RIM is trying to stay relevant with the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note releases happening this fall. BlackBerry 10 will not debut until next year, but RIM doesn't want us to forget them.
The predictive keyboard looks interesting. I'm not sure that it will really improve typing speeds though. My experience has been that once you stop focusing on the keyboard and instead focus on the text while trusting your fingers to find the right keys (with help from error correction), my typing is faster and more accurate. It seems that with RIM's keyboard I'll have to focus on the keys more than the text. I'll wait to play with it until I make a judgement, but that's my first impression.
