Everyone knows that the consumer will decide which smartphone companies succeed or fail. If customers like the product, they will buy it. Apple's iPhone has been dominant over the last several years because people loved the iPhone. BlackBerry has lost a lot of ground over the last 3 years, but some are taking note in the customer satisfaction ratings of BlackBerry 10 vs iPhone and Android.
The Gadget Masters took a look at the customer ratings at Canada's carriers, and then posted an article entitled, "BlackBerry Z10 is Crushing iPhone 5, Galaxy SIII and Note II in Customer Satisfaction."
The evidence is not scientific, but customers do appear to be satisfied with BlackBerry 10. It will take awhile to catch on, and BlackBerry may not have that much time. It does appear however, that people who use the BlackBerry Z10 are satisfied and that's a good sign for BlackBerry.
Tech companies don't have monster comebacks every day. Apple did it, but they're about the only company who has managed to pull something like that off. BlackBerry will probably never be as dominant as they were a few years ago, but that doesn't mean they can't be a solid business that carves a significant piece of the smartphone market out for themselves. Let's hope they succeed. More choice is always better for the consumer!

At Rogers, one of the two largest carriers in Canada, the BlackBerry Z10 is rated 4.5/5.0 stars, with a large sample size of 122 reviews. This is a much better score than the 16 GB iPhone 5 (3.0/5.0 stars).
At Telus, the evidence is even clearer, since reviews are scored to one decimal place. The Z10 has a score of 4.7/5.0 (71 reviews). This is far ahead of the iPhone 5, which received 3.9/5.0 (37 reviews).
