Several reports have emerged that Skype for BlackBerry 10 will be released, but will not be a native BlackBerry app. It will instead be a port of Skype for Android. This is disappointing news as most people were hoping the big name apps would support BlackBerry 10 natively. Is this a big deal? Sort of. Unless the Android port is extra good, I suspect performance could be an issue.
What do you think? Is it better for BlackBerry to rush these Android ported apps, or take their time to get native support from the big apps and services?
