BlackBerry has been a favorite among enterprise customers over the years. Even though several companies have recently switched to other platforms, BlackBerry's bread and butter is still enterprise and other companies know that.
In a recent Bloomberg interview, Nokia CEO Steven Elop takes aim directly at BlackBerry.
“I get asked a lot of questions about this relative to BlackBerry, and what I’ll say is: I’m very interested in BlackBerry customers.” Elop said. "It is very clearly our intent to go after those customers and show them a very different, very modern and very superior business experience.”
Elop makes sure to suggest that large companies like Coca Cola have moved away from BlackBerry and on to Nokia phones. The battle is heating up for 3rd and 4th place in the smartphone market.
