CNBC hosted a Squawk Box Money Madness tournament for stock picking, and some people seem to have a lot more faith in BlackBerry. The question that was asked was: "Which stock will have the best gains from the start of the second quarter to the end of the year?" 16,000 people responded and BlackBerry beat Apple by 63%.
This obviously doesn't mean much. Maybe more BlackBerry users watch CNBC, I don't know. It does say that people have given up on Apple, and are still hoping BlackBerry has an upside. After all, when you're down as much as BlackBerry is it makes sense that there is nowhere left to go but up.
