BlackBerry announced plans to make BBM available on Android and iOS, and it looks like it might show up sooner, rather than later. BBM for iOS has already been submitted to the App Store and is simply waiting for Apple's approval.
BlackBerry's Alex Kinsella tweeted the news today.
"Just in case we forgot to mention, BBM for iPhone was submitted for review 2 wks ago. #waiting #BBM4ALL"
So it looks like it's just a matter of Apple giving its stamp of approval before we see BBM for iOS. If it really has been submitted two weeks ago it's surprising that it hasn't already been approved. Assuming the app doesn't do anything weird, it should be approved shortly.
