The BlackBerry Passport is coming to AT&T very soon, but it won't be like the Passport you are familiar with. BlackBerry apparently made a special Passport just for AT&T. According to BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, AT&T requested rounded corners on the Passport and BlackBerry made their wish come true. This is not the first time that a device company has customized a phone for a particular carrier, but usually those customizations involve color, and branding. I can't remember a time when the hardware was drastically modified for one carrier.
The AT&T version of the BlackBerry Passport will sport rounded corners, and will sell for $649.99 off-contract. No official launch date has been released yet, butt he Passport is coming "very soon."
