BlackBerry has been forced to pull the OS 10.3 update from the Q10 and Z10 over performance and battery issues. The company received many complaints from users of the older devices and decided to pull the update until it can be worked out. MobileSyrup posted the news earlier today.
Both Rogers and Bell confirmed the update rollout has been pulled.
While this has to be a big disappointment for BlackBerry, they did the right thing by pulling the update immediately. The Passport was scheduled to receive the update in a few weeks. BlackBerry will need to fine tune it before that happens.

“We are aware that some devices had an issue with the recent download of 10.3.1 for the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. BlackBerry is working towards a solution and we will update our customers as soon as possible. The update is no longer being sent out to our customers.”
A Bell spokesperson echoed the message with, “The update has stopped, but you should connect with BB directly for more info.”
